Hi,
we had little chicks that grew into our beautiful laying hen pets when our kids were little.
After they all died of old age we moved from our country block to a town one so cookies weren’t an option.
We have had an incubator at my work - preschool.
One little egg chick tried and tried for over 24hrs to get out of its shell. We thought it was dead, but I pulled it out and helped it as it was still cheeping. It came out with all this yolk stuff still on it and its little legs and toes all wobbly. Now it is 4 days hatched, still very wobbly and can’t seem to walk but rather swims around its enclosure.
I‘ll be asking for help as we go.
