Newbie - day 1 of research

Hi! I'm brand new here and wanted to say hi and also would love any guidance I can get on beginning this process. I have nothing currently. So it's learning about every detail of raising chickens that is most important. Wish me luck!

You certainly came to the right place to learn how to start this venture that thousands of us here just love!

I'd first check out our Learning Center as there are oodles of articles written by our members about caring for chicks and chickens.

You'll need a brooder if you're getting chicks, and a coop for them too. We have a Coop forum with lots of coop ideas, and here's our brooder/incubator articles.

We have Forums here, so if you ever have a question, just find the forum where you think it fits and post away!
