Newbie delux! Mating?

Thanks for the *extra* info on roosters! My roo is pretty young from what I was told. He doesn't seem aggressive. He will cluck and crow sometimes if I get him stirred up or nervous.. but if I walk in the pen I make him walk away from me. Hubby had to catch him the first day we had him when he flew over the fence.. he didn't try to bite or anything~ other than fuzz up his neck feathers! I just had to have a pat of him while he was still being held. He was much harder/courser than I imagined.
