I’m a new member who joined at the end of 2018, so I’m finally introducing myself!
(1) Are you new to chickens / when did you first get chickens?
I don’t actually have chickens. I’m a new duck owner as of October 2018.
(2) How many chickens do you have right now?

(3) What breeds do you have?

(4) What are your favorite aspects of raising backyard chickens?
I love how natural and rewarding it is to have my own eggs, and I love watching my ducks play and be silly around the lake.
(5) What are some of your other hobbies?
Reading, traveling, binge-watching Netflix, sewing, scrapbooking, and community volunteer work
(6) Tell us about your family, your other pets, your occupation, or anything else you'd like to share.
I’m unmarried, but I have a wonderful boyfriend. I work for a local Chamber of Commerce, and our business owners love hearing stories about my ducks’ shenanigans
(7) Bonus: How did you find BYC, how long have you known about BYC, and what made you finally join our awesome community?
I found BYC while researching what I needed to care for my ducks before I purchased them. I found the forums very welcoming and polite, and I have definitely received great tips and advice from the other members’ posts and shared experiences. Seems like a wonderful online community!
