Newbie eager to learn

Hello everyone! I'm brand new to BYC and to chicken keeping as well. We just bought a small farm, and our first project is raising chickens for eggs. We have 20 4 week old chicks currently in our spare room. I am really enjoying them, and very eager to learn as much as possible.

Welcome to Backyard Chickens, what breeds did you get?

They were sold to me as buff orpingtons, silver laced wyandottes, gold laced wyandottes, ameraucanas, and marans. I'm attempting to post a thread on identifying gender/breed so I can differentiate but still learning the whole posting thing. Hoping for at least 12 pullets and will keep 1-2 cockerels.
