Newbie first run

Feb. 23rd put 64 barred rocks in the homemade bator. Candled tonight 9th day and 60 are cooking just right. Candle again 3/13 lock down day. Hatch day 3/16. Keeping my fingers crossed that nothing fails.

Wow! 60 huh? Do you have your brooder ready? That's a lot of chicks, even if only half of them make it all the way to hatching!

And you know how beginners luck can go!!!

Oh, and are you aware of the rules regarding newly hatched chicks, especially when it's your first time incubating? PICTURES! YOU MUST POST PICTURES!!!

Break that rule and we'll come looking for ya!!!
