Hi all,
I'm new here, and new to chooks. I have around thirty girls on our place in rural NSW.
My son and I are starting to breed Gold Laced and Blue Laced Gold Wyandottes, which we keep separately for my laying girls. My layers are a wide variety of breeds and cross breeds. We have among others, Isa Browns, Australorps, Silkies, Silver Laced Wyandottes, Maran X, Araucana and olive eggers.
My question is : does anyone recommend the Italian Borotto brand of incubators? It would be a big investment for us to purchase an incubator and I would like to get it right.
I have purchased some fertile cross bred eggs to give our first broody Blue Laced girls a try because the rooster isn't old enough to do his job yet. But will probably go down the incubator road soon.
Does anyone have any advice on this brand?
Kind Regards,
Dusty
