Thanks PouleChick, lovely to get positive feedback . I'll have to call it my henpost now (or maybe my poulepost!). My chickies sure seem to be enjoying it, and I like how flexible it is to add.ahelter etc based on first-hand observations of their/my needs without compromising on predator proofing. Very happy with it so far

It is really good - looks so well built and as you say you can add to it for them and build more of a coop in a corner for the winter etc. Let us know how you go with the mister. My dh bought all the nipples to make one but didn't get there this year (and they survived!) we get temps over 40c most summers at some point.
