Hello from Old Hangtown (Placerville) California. I am new to all of this and trying to figure out what is normal and what to expect. Wow, I thought I'd get a few chicks, throw them out in the yard and *voile* breakfast....WRONG! So I am madly reading, absorbing all I can and thank one and all for the wonderful information and posts. I do have one question....what do all the abbreviations mean? DH, etc. I can figure out that most are breeds but I think the DH refers to family??? Thanks
