After reading so much helpful advice here for the last six months I thought I should join the community. I loved reading the stories and seeing that others are having as much fun as I am with the flock. I have 8 lovely ladies. About 3 months old. 2 nhr, 3 dark Brahmas and 3 black austalorps all doing well!

I selected the breeds in a large part due to information I found here on byc.... I am trilled with them so far. They are hopefully well suited to our climate and my inexperience lol

. I just recently became a chicken mom. We have 4 easter eggers and 2 welsummers. They just turned a month.

Hi, everybody, My name is Eddie and I am new in breeding chicken but I love to raise them as a second income to supplement my returnment income in the Philippines. I just finish my fencing my 1 acre land and plant some vegetables in the Philippines in 2014. I will build my coop this year, develop a worm area for their protuen requirement when I visit the Philippines. I plan to produce eggs and chicks and sell them. I am excited to start a chicken farm.
