Welcome to BYC! We're in the central valley. I just got "Building Chicken Coops for Dummies" and although I am *not* a dummy

it has a lot of useful planning information and also five or six complete sets of plans. I'm going to have a mishmash of features from several but the building theory sections are actually quite helpful.
