Got 12 Dominique's about 2 months ago. Moved them outside to their coop and run. Let them out in the yard today they found my bubble bee nest and had a blast eating them. Is that unusual?

I'm not sure what you mean by bubble bee nest, but chickens will often eat all sorts of strange things. Mine have a weird liking for polystyrene boxes.
As long as they seem healthy I wouldn't be worried.
