I am so sorry for the loss of your ducks. I really hope the catcher will be able to get them and solve your problem. I am sorry I don't know much about otters to give you advice but hopefully someone else will be able to. Best of luck to you and your birds!

Same here I am so sorry, with lakes, ponds and even rivers there are animals who love a free meal, snapping turtles are another culprit you'll have to watch for they love ducklings and will even bite the foot off an adult duck so be on the lookout for them too. I don't know if eradicating all such species is a good idea because they do have a purpose in the ecosystem of our world. Congrats on the new ducklings hope you have many more great hatches..
