I recently purchased two Delaware hens...one appeared to be an adolescent and the other an adult hen. I got them at night and quickly noticed the younger just didn't seem right. Silly i am sure but didn't seem as active and eyes were not as bright as the others. Day two she laid a soft egg, then nothing day 8 she died. Any ideas? She had good feathers ate well? These are my first chickens so just curious.
My daughter also just got two African grey geese babies two days old last Thursday they ate so cute and sweet. They are being kept inside in a large storage bin, pine shavings water food, stuffed duck for company and a heat light. They are growing so fast, when is really safe for them to be outside? It is in the mid to high 80's in the day and high 60's to low 70's at night and only getting warmer. They would be in a coop with run for their safety but when will it be safe for them? Any help is greatly appreciated!

there are forums on here for "other poultry" like geese and ducks. I'm not experienced with either. Your weather sounds beautiful - we haven't even achieved highs as warm as your lows.

! Great to have you aboard! Not sure what happened to your hen. You might post in the link below for more precise advice! Best of luck to you and your birds!
