Hello all! I'm so excited to get our first set of chicks in April. I'm doing all my research but still have lots of questions so you'll be seeing posts from me soon. We want chickens for lots of eggs! But we also want breeds that are friendly, cold hardy, manageable, and did I say productive? We love eggs! We've chosen Rhode Island Red, Austrolorp, White Plymoth Rock, Silver laced Wyandotte, and Red Star. What do you think?
