Newbie from Kansas.....

Hi All,

I am from South Central Kansas, and I don't have any chickens right now, but hubby and I do have a wonderful garden! Unfortunately the town we live in doesn't allow chickens to be kept, or any other 'fowl' or 'livestock', and I am very interested in finding a way to get the city to change their mind and allow people to create their own miniature backyard farms. I know it will take a lot of work, and I'm glad to be able to joint this forum to learn all I can about keeping chickens, and find a way to get our little town to open up the doors to backyard farmers!

I'm looking forward to getting to know everyone here!

Glad you could join the flock! I hope you are able to get your laws changed so you are able to keep a few chickens. It really is a super hobby and very rewarding. I see you have posted in the laws section of the forum I hope other members are able to you out.
