How wonderful to have someone from Malaysia! I hope you can find the chickens you would like. I love silkies~do you have those there?

We do have silkies but there aren't many sellers and the net work for hobbyist is not available.
Why do you like this breed?
Do they have special qualities?

Most people where I come from are looking at breeding from a comercial point of view rather than as a hobbyist.

I don't know if taking hatching eggs on the planes are permitted.

Will try to carry some and hope the airport security will allow me to take them on the plane.

Silkies are supposed to be really tame and have a nice disposition. There is a certain member on here who shows her silkie parading around in chicken clothes often, a testimony to their kind nature, even though it is quite silly

but cute. They also have a kind of fluff instead of feathers

From Minnesota. Would love to see some pics of wild white eared jungle fowl. Also pics of Seramas. Not sure about the transport of eggs on a plane, could be dicey. Anyhow, this is a great forum with lots of information. Glad you could join us.

Dear All, TQ for the warm welcomes.
So many friendly people in this forum!

Hi Woody! Here are two photos I took from DQ Farm Blog Site.
These photos belong to Mr. HS Wong the owner of this organic farm.

There are some interesting links on the origins of the Red Jungle Fowls in his website.

It is these photos that had gotten me interested in breeding chickens & poultry.
