Newbie from Michigan

I don't have chickens yet, still in the process of collecting old barn wood/materials to build a coop. Looking forward to getting started tho! I'm new to building too so it could be awhile....I saw on a post that someone used old barn foundation stones for the coop they built. Any suggestions on how to get some stones and how exactly do I use them under the coop?? Thanks!
