Newbie from Missouri

[Poultry Friend]

Hi all!

I am joining because we are taking the plunge and getting some American Game (normal size I think- although they are not very large birds either) and some very large Dominique's.

I could use all the help I can get!

I have done a TON of research, but there is little to no (and leaning toward NO) information about showing American Game- even on the American Game Fowl website! LOL

I would *love* some help with knowing the SOP and how to select good quality birds, as I have to do this on Sat. We will most likely get 10 hens (with some of those being pullets) and one Roo, as well as 3-4 Doms.

I am not sure if people with knowledge of American Game's are just not on very much, but this intro post is the only one that has really been replied too. I have now also posted in the game thread (thank you very much for that link) and am still waiting for any sort of reply. :/

I am getting kinda worried. I need to pick out these birds tomorrow and I still have NO idea what to look for and what to avoid. Freaking out a little.
