Thanks to everyone for your comments. I've been suppressed by the weather and work for the last few day's with the tractor, I will be happy if I can finish w/ in the next month will post picture's when done. Just spotted two red tail hawks circling at dusk last night I think they some chickens down the road. Maybe they will move on after they get their fill from someone else.

from California! A rooster will make an "alarm" call when he sees a hawk and the chickens will hide, not 100% reliable but worth a shot if you can have roosters. My girls hide in the bushes when something flies overhead.
