Hi,
I currently have 10 lovely chickens (mostly heritage breeds) and 4 young Sebastopol geese. I have had chickens early in life but am looking to learn more. I am new to geese but already love them and plan to purchase a couple more in the spring. They are free ranged in the pasture during the day with our small herd of goats, sheep and 2 horses.
I’m looking for advice on how to convert a 10x10 horse stall to a coop for the winter for the chickens (and geese at night). As well as possibly adding on an outdoor run attached to the stall. As well as a possible outdoor shelter for winter days.
The stall convert has been a work in progress, adding higher nesting boxes, hanging and natural roosts for hens as well as corner nesting area for geese to rest.
thanks for letting me join!
