Newbie from Oregon

Thank you!!! We have Novegens, Americauna's, Polish, Speckled Sussex, and a few others for our older flock and then our baby chicks are Rhode Islands, Black Sexlinks, Olive Eggers and Marans. It's so much fun raising layers. The meat chickens are doing well, just keeping myself distant from them, loving them, just wanting to protect myself from becoming emotional at harvest time.

Nice flock! I have some dual-purpose one's. I can understand you not wanting to play with your food when it comes to your meat chicken's.
