Newbie from PA

But not new to chickens! I happened upon here looking for information about keeping my chicks and ducks together, and I'm glad I found it!

I'm Jessica, I live in Southern PA,near Maryland. I raise layers and also meat birds, mainly just for fun(and food) for our family. I currently have a mixed laying flock, and 13 new babies in the brooder(that's out of the the 31 I ordered. Apparently they got too cold during transit-not happy with the postal service).

I've been raising chickens for about three years on my own, but my dad raised them for years before I took over. I'm looking forward to learning new things!
