Hello!
I am new here in town and though not exactly a city slicker, I'm not a farm girl either. I live in the sticks in Indiana County PA and I raise small exotic parrots like conures, parakeets, cockatiels and lovebirds. I also have many other furries like rabbits, guinea pigs, rats, mice, hamsters, a ferret, cats and dogs. I also have bearded dragons, turtles, snakes and a tortoise.
This year I decided to try something new and got myself some peeps and a couple ducklings, and for the time being they are in the house until the hutch/hen house is finished outback. the run is done, I just want their house done before putting them out permanently.
plus we have been having some nasty weather of nothing but storms and I guess maybe I'm just being over protective.
Hopefully I will learn a lot here than I have at tractor supply and the feed store because I've already felt like an idiot asking legitimate questions and being looked at like I'm a nut.... Well first off the birds are still in the house..... yes, and they are cleaned everyday, fed once a day so my cornish girls dont break their legs and they get fresh water every two hours. and are talked to and played with like any of my other pets just like they are part of the family.
