Hello,

I am new to this site and have only been raising egg layers for about 2 years. We have 6 adult hens right now which include 1 White Leghorn, 1 Buff Orpington, 2 Red Sex Links and 2 New Hampshire Reds.

We also have 3 pullets that we have not integrated with the adults yet. A black langshan, a gold laced cochin and a dark brahma.

Welcome to BYC. Glad you decided join our flock. You have really nice mix of breeds and some excellent layers, particularly in your White Leghorn and Red Sex Links. I've raised Red Sex Links for years (along with dozens of other breeds and hybirds), and they along with my Black Sex Links have been my best layers, consistently churning out more than 300 eggs per hen per year. You should get loads of large, brown eggs from those two girls. :o) Please feel free to ask any questions you may have. We are here to help in any way we can. Good luck with your flock.
