Hello all,
Im a 28 year old dad with a 11 yo step son and 3 yo daughter . The wife and I decided to get a few chicks next spring for the kids to tend to. My moms ans dads families both, always had chickens running about. And my father in law had yard birds when the wife was young. I want my children to have some familiarity with things that are slowly being lost each generation. I am thinking of getting 4 RIR's or maybe EE's.
I have learned a lot from reading here already and am more of a lurker , only because I know so little about chickens. But I figured I would join and show some pictures or our coop build.
