Hey all! I'm new here and I joined because a fellow chicken lover recommended the site to me! I have been doing the "chicken thing" for about 3 years now. Believe it or not, I still have 2 of my birds from my "original" flock (I got them for free at the age of 2yrs) I was sooo clueless when I started with my birds, but I wanted to have them so bad! Boy, am I ever glad I started! My flock is now up to 22 birds (3 are roosters) I'm not a "pure breed" gal, I'm just in it for the eggs, the occasional meat, and the bug patrol! I love having them and listening to their noises. I don't know everything there is to know and I hope I can gain more insight thru the members here!
