Newbie has a few questions...

Thanks all for the info...BTW I was reading this website
http://www.cityfarmer.org/quail2.html and Im under the impression that I could keep alot of quail, both males and females in one big cage, is this right?
My cages are very big, I have both 36x30s and several 64x30..Would that be just chaos because I can put a divider in the big cages easily.

Also a question about the eggs..Do you worry about eating fertilized eggs? It kinda grosses me out when I think about cracking an egg and it having a half formed chick in it...Im not Andrew Zimmerman;)

Unless you store your eggs in a humid spot that stays between 98 and 102 F, you won't ever crack an egg and have a developing embryo in it. Just collect your eggs every day and don't worry about it.
