Newbie hatch experiences challenges.

7 out of nine healthy chicks in brooder despite power outage during incubation, and two other times during incubation. Two were shrink wrapped and had to be removed. I am glad I spent the last few days while they were in lockdown to read about hatching problems on Backyard Chickens! I will post my experience about Phyllis, my miracle chick, in a later post.
