Newbie hatching cayuga duck eggs

I'm so relived to hear that I no its not a deffo yet but I'm glad my little babies are looking good ha
There is never a guarantee with hatching but we can be hopeful when things are on track
Don’t be afraid to candle them until you see internal pip
I am in my bator a lot till I see the pip
I just don’t lift the eggs so I don’t disorient them
Unless I worry a pip could be on the backside

Yeah that's the horrible part......what do you mean backside? Is the egg the correct way with the air sac facing up?

Yes it was in the correct position but I have had on pip the side that was down
If I hadn’t checked he wouldn’t have made it as the hole was against the bottom of the bator
At that point I just turned the egg so the hole was facing up so air could get in
This was my first batch I hatched and anything and everything went wrong
I could write a book lol
But I learned a lot and now can help others
