Mirror and a stuffy can help
Once they are together he won’t be so lonely but may still cry for you as you were the first he saw so he has imprinted on you.
My first hatched is still my big baby and loves for me ti pick him up
He is just over one now

Thank you for your help throughout couldn't of done without you......the first hatchling doest like when he can't see me goes mad haha xx yeah I've provided food and water now so first ones drinking I'll watch out for the other one to move to the brooder

Yeah was hoping they'll imprint on me he's just snuggling on my hand under the brooder which I regret cause its getting warm ha

I start to bath mine day 3
I use warm water and only deep enough they can stand up but also swim
Only 5-10 mins don’t let them get to tired
I then use paper towel to dry them as it absorbs the water well
Then I put them by the heat. They immediately start to preen using their oil glands
By day 5 they will be swimming under water like mad ( they love it )
I use a butter container and cut holes in the lid so they can dunk their heads deep enough to keep eyes and nares clean but not climb in and get to cold
I also add nutritional yeast 1tbs to 1 cup feed till my little ones are 10-12 weeks old. Not all breeds need the extra niacin but I don’t chance it
As it can be really hard on them if they do need it and don’t get it till later after an issue
