Newbie here! 15 chicks arriving next week.

I'm getting all females: 6 Rhode Island Reds, 7 Barred Rocks, 1 White Silkie Bantam, and 1 White Crested Black Polish Bantam. I'll probably end up keeping 6-8. I have the brooder box all set up. Now the pressure is on to get my coop and run together!!

I think you're wise to get an all pullet order. That way you won't end up trying to re-home a bunch of unwanted roosters. Good luck with your chicks.
