I was not thrilled with the idea when dh brought it up, and proceeded to incubate eggs but, I fell in love when the chicks hatched. I'm only sorry we didn't get into it years ago. This is a great forum, full of excellent advice and wonderful people.

I agree with asking around at your local feed stores. Although, at some of the major chain feed/supply stores the people working there don't really know much about chicks/chickens.
