We currently have 2 Easter Eggers that lay mint green eggs, 1 golden sex link, and 3 pure gray lavender Ameraucana, that lay a lovely shade of very light blue.
We are ordering 2 brown Leghorn for white eggs, 2 Cream Legbar for another shade of blue egg hopefully, 2 Golden Cuckoo Marans for dark brown, and 3 Rhode Island for another shade of brown.
We love our colored egg variety.

We had three Australops but lost them to a animal of some kind

Yes we do love our hens. We actually had a coop catch on fire due to poor wiring that we bought from someone at the very beginning of the winter and I ended up running in and managed to rescue our hens thankfully. My father built our new one with us so we are much more confidant in it.

Sorry to hear of your coop fire, glad to hear you were able to rescue the flock.
