Hi everyone! Our flock is down here in Florida!

I started last year with 3 chicks. Loved them way more than I imagined I would. Just got 14 more about a month ago to add to our flock!! Everyone is doing well.

They free range when we are home and locked up when we are away. They have an open run connected to a shed so they can be in or out when they please.

We just started introducing the little ones to the big ones. Everyone is being nice free roaming right now, but not so nice locked up so we separate them at night.... at least until the little ones can hold their own safely.

So, that’s our story. Looking forward to learning from the experts on here !

Adding new birds to an existing flock shakes up the group dynamics and there's some adjusting for everyone to do.
