(1) Are you new to chickens / when did you first get chickens?
I'm pretty new to chickens. I got my first 4 in early March.
(2) How many chickens do you have right now?
I am up to 24 chickens
(3) What breeds do you have?
I have quite a variety.
(4) What are your favorite aspects of raising backyard chickens?
I love every aspect of chicken keeping.
(5) What are some of your other hobbies?
I breed and show miniature horses and hobby garden.
(6) Tell us about your family, your other pets, your occupation, or anything else you'd like to share.
I have 4 adult kids, 5 grandkids, 4 miniature horses (one pregnant), 3 standard horses, 4 fainting goats, 2 Great Pyrenees dogs, 1 bengal cat, 2 barn cats, and of course my 24 chickens.
(7) Bonus: How did you find BYC, how long have you known about BYC, and what made you finally join our awesome community?
I ask chicken questions in google and I often get the answers from BYC. I joined because y'all have all the information here!
