Hi Samilou and welcome to BYC! What a great idea for skills to nurture for your son. Not only are these skills useful and important tasks, they are so enjoyable. There's so much to learn and observe.
My daughter has special needs too and I love to watch her out playing with her chickens, she is peaceful, quiet, and creative spending time with them. It's a good break after the school days.
