Welcome to BackYard Chickens!

I have 3 girls. I'm a newbie mom. I have raised them since 4 days old. This is our first winter together. I have read and researched since day one. They are great layers and I love to treat them. I don't wish to get too crazy with my flock, as it is so tempting to get one of every kind. I think a lot of their care is common sense, if you love them, know them. I do love the expert advice. So much to learn, who knew!

Hello. I'm am trying to learn to navigate the site better. So apologies for not getting back to everyone's gracious welcome. Thanks to all for that. I have 3 Amberlinks, they are 10 months and very much family. I never knew I could love a chicken, here I am killing it! With such a large site I didn't expect a welcome at all, so kind.
