I am in Loveland, Ohio. East of Cincinnati. I had a chicken as a teeneager. Lived close to Mt. Healthy Hatchery and every girl received a baby chick or duck for Easter. I am a semi-retired empty nester and am getting back to nature in my young age. ( Early 50's

Anyway, now I have time for gardening and thought chickens would make great addition since I now have more free time. I have 3 -11 week old girls. Lucy, Buff Orpington; Ethel, Aracouna; and Maude, Partridge Rock. They were purchased locally at Mt. Healthy Hatcheries at a day old.

Anyway, this is a great site and I have found many answers to my questions here.
