Newbie here

I live in Louisiana (about 30 minutes north of New Orleans in an area called sixth ward). I just got 4 Dominique chicks and two Gold Sexlinks. Can you guys share your experiences, pros/cons with these breeds? I've never raised before but if like some input. Thanks!

Hello! I haven't raised Dominiques, but the gold sexlinks are just wonderful. They're just laying machines! Mine started laying at 17 weeks, and they layed a very nice, large brown egg. They are also a friendly, docile breed.

Yeah I've definitely noticed the Sexlinks will come right up to me; the Dominiques are still a little standoffish so far. I've had them since Sunday.
