Hello, I'm new in town here. I just discovered this site and it's fantastic. I am an electrician by day, wanting to raise ducks and chickens with the rest of my time. I currently am attempting to hatch saxony duck eggs. This is fairly new to me. My father and I raised game fowl for a hobby when I a young man which I enjoyed doing. I hope to enjoy these ducks and future chicks as much as I didback then.

Glad you could join the flock! Lovely to hear you are getting back into poultry and are incubating some duck eggs. I love incubating it's so much fun and amazing when you see them hatch.

Quick update.. Due to some miscalculation, tornados and loss of power, so far I have only had 3 of original 10 eggs of saxony ducks hatch. I am stoked and my lady is already calling herself a new mama. These three ducks are awesome. Even at 24hours old.
