(1) Are you new to chickens / when did you first get chickens?
we have now had our flock of 6 for a year! I started so I had something for me to do.
(2) How many chickens do you have right now?
we have 6 right now but will be adding 4 more by the end of the week
Of my 6 I have one Roo that was a surprise.
(3) What breeds do you have?
2 Plymouth barred rock
2 ideal
2 buff Orpingtons
I will be adding 4 silkies this week
(4) What are your favorite aspects of raising backyard chickens?
I love watching wonder around my back yard, I love how they eat the bugs in my yard and love the fresh eggs!
(5) What are some of your other hobbies?
i don’t have any other hobbies, this was a hobby for me to find myself again.
(6) Tell us about your family, your other pets, your occupation, or anything else you'd like to share.
We are a family of 4! I have a 4 yo and a 1 yo. We have 2 dogs, one that loves to play with the chickens and one that could not careless.
(7) Bonus: How did you find BYC, how long have you known about BYC, and what made you finally join our awesome community?
I stumbled upon BYC probably through a google search last year. It wasn’t until recently that I saw you could “join”
