You are not the only one that doesn't understand electricity, I do'nt even like changing light bulbs. Thanks to all who posted easy drawings to follow.

The Miss Prissy diagram is just what I needed, I read the thread, but only the first couple pages!

They had a themometer/hygrometer at Lowes for like $12, I went there instead of Wally world since I had a $10 coupon!

I think I have it now! I'm going to just wire the bulb to the thermostat and do the fan seperately, since I still cannot wrap my mind around wiring the fan too!

Glad to know the worst I'll do is blow a fuse, I don't need to set anything else on fire!

Ya keep the fan separate so it goes all the time...you have an ac adapter to use with it right? Just cut off the computer plug part and the ac adapter end, then plug in the adapter and touch the wires together one way, then the other (don't zap your finger though)...the fan will switch ways that it blows so make sure it blows away from the wall

I mounted mine with long screws so i could leave it about 1" from the wall.

if you need anymore help...just come back...this place is the all knowing treasure trove of smarts!
