Good luck with convincing your family. In the past we've managed to lure previous anti-chookers in with little chicks. After a while, when the chicks start following them around, it proves too much to resist for them...

My parents seem to have Cuteness Resistance Disorder so I'm not so sure they would fall prey to the cute parade.
