Hi all! We live in Somerset, CA - which is east of Sacramento, in the Sierra Nevada Foothills.

After lurking on this site for over a year, I am excited to become an official member! We are putting the final touches on our coop and run this weekend, and will be bringing home 4-6 pullets a few days later. I can hardly wait!

Hello and welcome! I lived in Cali for 7 years, but down by Modesto. I'm familiar with where you are, and it's beautiful! Really some gorgeous places in those hills.
