Hi all got my campbells yesterday all doing well so far still new to this game but hopefully with all your help there's still time lol x

Welcome to BYC! Glad you decided to join our flock. I assume by Campbells, you are referring to the duck breed (unless there is some breed of chicken in the UK that's called a Campbell which might go by another name in the US. I'm a chicken person and don't know much about ducks (although I've had a few), but I have to admit that ducklings are the ultimate in cute. I would suggest posting this on our duck section at https://www.backyardchickens.com/f/42/ducks and taking advantage of our duck experts there. Please feel free to ask any questions you may have. We are here to help in any way we can. Good luck with your Campbells.

Good morning and welcome to BYC. Hope you are enjoying your Campbells. There's a lot of good information here (check out the articles under the Learning Center tab if you haven't already). And if you have questions there are some very knowledgeable folks here too...once everyone is awake that is...it's 4:15am here on the US eastern coast.

There's a section on BYC especially for ducks you may enjoy. Here's a link to that forum:

Hi dembones and welcome from someone else in England.

I used to have ducks when I first started keeping poultry.... cute but messy creatures.... can turn a puddle into a muddy pond in no time!. Unfortunately I was slowly wiped out by a fox that time.
I started again in January this year and just got chickens this time. So far so good re foxes but I've had one or two dog attacks, which are pretty infuriating.

I don't know if duck maths is as bad as chicken maths but if so beware. I got a trio of leghorns 9 months ago and I now have over 30 chucks .... it's very addictive.

Anyway, just wanted to say "Hi" and good luck with your ducks.

Regards

Barbara
