Hello, hello!
I'm the proud parent of a 3 yr old and an almost 9 month old.
We recently added to our family a little flock of 5 lovely hens (though I suspect two are actually pullets). I have DREAMED of having chickens of my very own for years but with a husband in the service that was impossible. Well! October came, he got out and for Christmas I got 5 beautiful birds and I'm on cloud 9. I've had my girls for a week but I must confess I have been watching this site for over a year waiting for when I could join and learn from the group!
In addition to our new chickens, we also have 3 rabbits(and in about a week many more) 2 lazy house cats, a german shepherd and a hamster.
