Hello, I love birds, always have, always wanted a parrot very badly, but married someone highly allergic to birds, go figure! LOL Anyway, I got some chickens last spring, and have found they fill the void. Mine are really more pets than anything else, I even have a couple that will fly up and land on my shoulder occasionally, my husband says, my place is where they come to live the good life, with no expectations

Anyway, I got a few new ones about a month ago, and ended up going through 3 rounds of antibiotics and losing 5 of them, now that that is over, coop has been bleached and all that, they are all laying well, and I have a very broody silkie, so Im very excited to see if I get some babies soon! I currently have 1 frizzle rooster, 1 or 2 EE roosters (we will see when they are grown more) 1 adult EE hen, and at least one EE pullet, also 2 black silkie hens, and 3 red new hamshire hens, as well as 2 guineas.
