Newbie incubator/hatcher questions

Fertility is often low in my flock. I keep most of the roosters outside free range. Right now there are 3 males inside the pen covering 250 plus hens

That's fixing to change if the weather ever dries out. I've been slowly gathering pure breed males so that I can break the flock up into specific breeds.

I had some eggs hatch last week. Nd now one week later I have some more hatched. Can I put these chicks in the same brooder as the one week old chicks ?

I asked that same question on another post and got mix responses.

I do it all the time. The need to establish a pecking order doesn't develope for months

The only thing I don't mix in the brooder is waterfowl with any other type bird.

The chickens,turkey and quail get mixed and matched . The only thing I watch for is that some of the heavier breeds can squash the little ones. Example, I wouldn't put any of the quail with the turkey poults. Smaller chicks yes

The waterfowl get everything and everyone wet. That's why they get a brooder to themselves. I will have multiple age groups together
