Newbie intro fro AL

Hi y'all! We're in the mountains of NE AL and about to place our first poultry order. So excited! We were just going to start with chicks but son wanted ducks. So, we're getting a mixture of both. There's an old coop that was on the property when we bought it last year. Thought we would be able to use, but upon careful examination, found out it's too far gone. Now we're planning a new one (or two) for the new arrivals.

I grew up on a small hobby farm, but that was a long time ago. I have to learn everything all over again.

I'm not online a lot, but I look forward to chatting with everyone.
